David Padgett is a former McDonald’s High School All American, unanimous All Big East 1st team selection, professional basketball player and head coach of the University of Louisville. With heavy emphasis and individual improvement and personal growth both on and off the court, David Padgett Basketball is the premier individual improvement facility serving the city of Louisville and the Kentuckiana region.
David Padgett has over fifteen years playing and coaching experience at the highest of Division 1 and professional levels. Prior to opening David Padgett Basketball, Coach Padgett served as the head coach for the University of Louisville during the 2017-2018 season, finishing with 22 wins and several players who are currently playing professionally both at home and overseas:
- Ray Spalding – 56th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, Dallas Mavericks
- Deng Adel – Cleveland Cavaliers
- Quentin Snider – Benfica, Portugal-LPB
- Anas Mahmoud – Al Zamalek, Egypt-Superleague
David Padgett Basketball focuses on quality, professional individual instruction for young players of many age and skill levels. In small groups with a maximum of four players, elite skill work, footwork and fundamentals are taught through repetition during a variety of drills in a competitive setting. The number one goal is to make a positive impact on the young athletes, during and away from basketball, while helping to elevate their game to the highest possible level.
